Snowflake for Data Science

Details
Snowflake is a cloud data platform that brings near-unlimited performance and scale to your data workloads. Snowflake scales to virtually any volume of data, and any number of users and concurrent workloads, without degrading performance. For a data scientist, that means access to all of an organisation's data at any time of the day, or month, without contention. No need to wait for everyone else to leave, or other processes to complete, before running those large models!
In tonight's session we will take a look at what makes Snowflake different and why this is important to you, as a data scientist. We will cover the ecosystem of data science and machine learning tools that integrate directly with Snowflake, the Snowflake Data Marketplace - a wealthy source of ready-to-query data you can use to enrich your models - and we will also step through a demo to show what's possible with Snowflake for data science. Finally we'll take a peek at what's coming, as part of the Snowflake product roadmap, to assist in simplifying moving data science pipelines into production.
