Huawei, ADAPT Centre and Sandbox VR

Details
We are kicking off the summer with a really special Machine Learning Meet up as part of Dublin Tech Week.
Places are limited so book early.
Hosted by our friends in Huawei Research Ireland, this event will take place in Sandbox VR's new location on Nassau Street where they offer futuristic VR experiences for individuals and groups.
Using the latest technology in motion capture, gaming, multimodal HCI, haptics and animation, this is the perfect venue for this month's ML Dublin Meetup which is themed around Next Generation Immersive Media.
Trinity Professor and ADAPT Centre member, Rachel McDonnell (who leads the Graphics and Visualisation group in Trinity) will present while Huawei's Principal Game Engine Architect Tobias Franke will talk about his team's research.
As places are limited, please register (with your real name) to join the waiting list and we will select (by lottery) the 100 attendees for the evening.
Attendees will receive a complimentary drink and a cocktail made and served by a robot, while a lucky few will be randomly selected for a complimentary multiperson VR game from 9 games currently available in Sandbox VR. As ever, it’s a great opportunity to network and hear about the cutting edge of machine learning.
