THANK YOU
BBC Machine Learning Fireside Chats Presents: Chat with my boss: what can be done to encourage more girls to consider careers in tech? And how can we make progression work for women?
Please join us at the BBC Radio Theatre for the January event where we’ll be joined by Women in Data to discuss their up-coming launch of Girls in Data.
On the Weds 29th January, please join us for a live recording of the BBC's ML Fireside Chats in the BBC Radio Theatre which will present large diversity of voices about the state and learnings from driving gender balance.
We have been talking a lot among women about what is wrong, we have talked a lot to women about what they need to change, we are pitching to girls to get into tech - but what is the perspective of the people in the middle of this change - our bosses, men and women who are currently leading organisations and tech innovation?
We will explain what is awaiting the future generation, how the work we are doing now will impact the work place of the future (what is the role of men and women in shaping it).
This will feature Robin Pembrooke in a panel discussion with Magda Piatkowska and we’ll also be screening a new Rankin social media film which will mark the launch of Girls in Data.
As always refreshments before and after in the Media Café where you can have a sneak peak into BBC’s famous newsroom!
