MageCart Analysis and Discussion by RISKIQ

It’s an all-out assault on e-commerce. The digital credit card-skimming groups behind Magecart are attempting to breach website functionality suppliers to gain access to thousands of e-commerce sites at once.

Recently, the same group responsible for placing its skimmer on the Ticketmaster website, by breaching a third-party analytics script also compromised customer rating plugin Shopper Approved. Fortunately, RiskIQ was alerted to the compromise based on our Magecart detection signatures and worked with Shopper Approved to quickly and efficiently remediate the incident.
