Here are some of the speakers you'll meet at ML Prague 2020
▪ François Chollet (Google) is world-known in the AI & ML community by being the author of Keras, a python framework designed to enable fast experimentation with deep neural networks. It is used by hundreds of thousands of users worldwide, a large number of startups, research laboratories (including CERN, Microsoft Research or NASA) and large companies such as Netflix, Uber, Google or Yelp.
▪ Tomas Mikolov (Facebook AI Research) is one of the most known and cited researchers in the field of deep learning for NLP worldwide. His word2vec algorithm has caused a breakthrough in statistical NLP which has significantly improved Google translate and many other services. Tomas is now involved in AI research at Facebook and he will share the recent results of their project on indefinitely long learning without supervision.
▪ Vojta Jína (Apple), who previously worked at Google, where he participated in the creation of the javascript open-source framework AngularJS, is currently working at Apple. At ML Prague 2020, he will give a lecture on a declassified project for Apple that he can finally talk about. Vojta Jina deals with machine learning solutions to develop intelligent products without sacrificing user privacy.
▪ Ashish Kapoor (Microsoft) is the leader of the Aerial Robotics and Informatics group at Microsoft (Redmond), one of the most advanced teams developing autonomous aircrafts in the world. A few years ago, his team developed a very famous autonomous sailplane, which was able to find lifts and travel long distances without an engine. At ML Prague, he will explore a framework that aims to preserve safety invariants despite the uncertainties in the environment arising due to incomplete information.
