Workshop: Decision Science & Data Science

Details
Machine learning techniques have significantly shortened the distance between customers and service and product providers in recent years. In fact, this is one of the driving forces of the new industrial revolution going on around the world. For example, the machine learning and big statistical/data techniques have enabled the direct input from customers and the immediate responses and implementations of suggested customer needs. In this workshop, with the combinations of a Decision Science approach, we would like to further advance and expand this customer/human-centered approach of machine learning.
📌 WORKSHOP
After an introductory presentation, the teams will have the chance to brainstorm ideas, tasks, resources (such as data, financial, human resources), infrastructure, etc. to solve a customer-centric business problem. The goal of this workshop is to develop an understanding of technical and non-technical requirements for a full-cycle business case involving decision and data science. Therefore, this workshop is for Software engineers, ML engineers, data scientists, product and project managers, students and researchers alike. As a byproduct, this workshop will strengthen your communication skills based on multi-disciplinary, collaborative teamwork.
