# 🎬 TRY ACTING WITH MAD DOG FILMS

Ever wanted to try acting?

Come along to Try Acting with Mad Dog Films — a practical Saturday experience where you get the opportunity to step in front of the camera and experience what it's like to perform in a film.

No previous acting experience is required.

### 🎭 YOUR SCRIPT — BEFORE THE EVENT

Your script and scene will be emailed to you in advance, giving you time to read through your character, learn your lines and prepare before you arrive.

On the day, you'll meet your scene partner, rehearse together and work with direction before filming your scene.

### 🎥 EVERYONE GETS ON CAMERA

This isn't a workshop where you spend the day watching other people act.

Every participant gets the opportunity to perform in a scripted scene on camera.

You'll experience what it's like to:

• Prepare a film scene
• Work with another actor
• Take direction
• Rehearse and perform
• Act for the camera
• Receive feedback on your performance

### 🎞️ TAKE HOME YOUR SCENE

Everyone receives a copy of their filmed scene after the session.

It's a chance to see yourself on camera, keep a record of your performance and build experience performing for film.

### ⭐ POTENTIAL MAD DOG FILMS CASTING

The session also gives Mad Dog Films the opportunity to discover new acting talent.

Participants who demonstrate ability, professionalism, commitment and potential may be invited to join the Mad Dog Films actor network and be considered for future film projects.

Future projects may include paid and voluntary acting opportunities, depending on the production, role and available budget.

Participation in the event does not guarantee casting or a paid role.
