Clothing Pop-Up Shop - Calling all SHOPPERS!

Do you love clothes? Are you compassionate, outgoing, and looking for a new volunteer opportunity that will have you interacting directly with clients?

Introducing our new Clothing Pop Up Shop! Located in the offices at our Warehouse location in the NE, Moms who are currently receiving or have recently received support from Made by Momma are invited to come and shop for women's clothing, shoes, and accessories. This is such a special venture, as we encourage Mommas to focus on themselves for just 45 minutes, and for many, it's their first opportunity in a long time to receive new (to them) clothing, shoes that fit properly, weather appropriate outerwear, or maybe a fun purse, scarf or pair of earrings. The best part is, Moms get to choose what they need the most!

This volunteer opportunity is for those who are interested in working directly with Moms as they shop!
**Important note. Our Pop-Up Shop needs to be a safe and comfortable space for Moms of all backgrounds. Therefore, this role is for female volunteers only.**

Note: It would be very helpful for volunteers to attend at least one Pop Up Shop Inventory session prior to signing up as a shopper!

SKILLS NEEDED
•Outgoing, friendly, and non-judgemental
•Ability to accept direction and follow instructions and procedures
•Comfortable interacting with clients, and confident in ensuring they understand and follow our policies
•Organized and willing to support fellow volunteers as needed
•Dependable and committed to your scheduled shift

RESPONSIBILITIES
•Check in on arrival with team lead regarding clients scheduled, and individual roles or expectations for the shift
•Partner with clients to help them understand policies, help to find their right sizes and items they are in need of, show them to the change rooms etc
•Keep clients on track for time, number of items, etc
•Help lead volunteer check out clients, bag items, cross parking lot to warehouse to get any extras requested and help client bring items to vehicle if requested
•Rehang and return clothing and other items is not selected by client
•Ensure inventory is well organized and replenish and restock as needed
•Sort clothing donations as time allows, or when requested
•Returning shop to welcome condition at end of shift
•Other related tasks as needed

• You must sign-in, read, agree and initial the Notice of Risk form prior to starting your volunteer shift AND sign-out at the end of your volunteer shift!

• If you can not attend the full shift, please email Cameo BEFORE you RSVP, and discuss whether your time available will work with the day's schedule. If you RSVP, and your availability changes, please be sure to change your response to NOT GOING. This will allow us to plan accordingly, as well as open your spot for another volunteer.
