Volunteer Information Session and Orientation

Are you a current volunteer with Made by Momma who has not yet attended a volunteer orientation?
Are you interested in learning more Made by Momma and making a difference as part of our volunteer team?
This session is for or all interested, new and current volunteers who have not yet attended an orientation, or are looking to see what's new and coming up!

It's important to find volunteer opportunities that are meaningful and rewarding for you! You may be looking to contribute or build your talents and skills, meet new people, or make a difference in the lives of Calgary families. Find your place amongst the incredible team of volunteers at Made by Momma! As a volunteer run organization, we have something for everyone, and we want to tell you about all of our opportunities.

Made by Momma has a commercial kitchen that you might feel right at home in as part of our kitchen team. Maybe you like to organize and want to make your difference by sorting donations, packing client care packages, and contributing in our Resource Centre. Or maybe you're most comfortable behind the wheel with a flexible schedule? We need more delivery drivers to get meals, hampers and essential items out to clients. Whatever skills you'd like to share, or reasons you have to volunteer, we would love to welcome you to the team.

This is also a great opportunity for current volunteers to learn more about what's new and where our greatest needs currently are. Maybe you've been volunteering with us for a while, but are curious what's new!

Join us Sunday, September 14th, at 10:30am in Made by Momma's Social + Good Charity Kitchen to learn more about our programs, the various ways you can get involved, and all of our upcoming volunteer opportunities.
All volunteers must attend this session early in their volunteer time with us, and if you haven't already, there's no better time.

Come and meet fellow volunteers, hear the vision behind what we do and get excited about all the great things happening. Special focus on sharing kitchen opportunities, leadership possibilities, and ongoing regular roles.
