Santa's Workshop - Workbee

SUNDAY WORKBEE!
NOTE: We will meet at the Made by Momma NE Warehouse - Bay 5. (Enter through the door to the left of the big white overhead garage-style door)

Calling all Santa's Elves! It's the most wonderful (and busy!) time of the year! Join the workbee and help us get ready for our Christmas programs at our satellite warehouse location. We have a lot to do to get ready for clients to come in for Santa's Workshop.

We will be there from 12:30pm - 4:30pm. Come for all or part of the day! We would love your help!

Skills Needed:
•Ability to work independently and take direction
•Dependable and committed to your volunteer shift
•Able to lift, carry and move boxes/bags of donations (up to 50 lbs)

Jobs to do:
•Liaise with team lead regarding what needs to be done
•Sort & organize boxes of donations
•Dust & wipe shelves and tables
•Stock & merchandise the shopping shelves
•Organize by size and hang up clothing
•Sort & organize books
•Other related tasks as needed

Please bring a snack and water bottle.
Wear comfortable clothing & shoes. (runners are best)
Due to the nature of the warehouse space, teens are ok to help, but the space is not suitable for children.

• You must sign in, read, agree to, and initial the Notice of Risk form at the Resource Centre before starting your volunteer shift, and sign out at the end of your volunteer shift!
• After this volunteer shift, clean-up includes wiping all counters, sweeping the floors, taking out the garbage and recycling, etc.

Guests of registered volunteers may attend ONE volunteer activity, then must register as a volunteer to attend further sessions
