A FREE Madeira iniciou os seus Meetups mensais no dia 4 de Novembro às 18h30, no Cowork Funchal à Rua das Mercês, 41.

Todas as primeiras quintas-feira do mês teremos uma nova edição.

Chris (@chris_SHA256) é um ávido Bitcoiner da Alemanha. É o anfitrião do podcast "Bitcoin Bibliothek" e co-anfitrião do podcast Bitcoin "Nodesignal". Partindo da premissa de que a adoção da Bitcoin depende da divulgação de conhecimentos sobre a Bitcoin, Chris traduz e lê artigos sobre a Bitcoin no podcast "Bitcoin Bibliothek". Assim, as prateleiras da Biblioteca Bitcoin imaginária ("Bibliothek") já contêm os audiolivros alemães de "21 Lessons" de Gigi, "Origins of Money" de Carl Menger, e "Why Bitcoin" de Tomer Strolight. No Podcast da Nodesignal, Chris e 5 outros anfitriões mergulham profundamente nos aspectos técnicos, económicos e sociais da Bitcoin. Seguindo Kant, Chris vê "Bitcoin como uma fuga da imaturidade monetária auto-imposta". Portanto, ele propaga uma disponibilidade livre e irrestrita de conhecimento sobre Bitcoin.
Se a Bitcoin é o micélio do dinheiro, a Alemanha, a Áustria e a Suíça têm uma grande infestação de fungos.

Esta breve palestra dará uma visão sobre os desenvolvimentos da comunidade Bitcoin de língua alemã nos últimos 5 anos. Ainda um tópico de nicho incompreendido, parece que o conhecimento sobre um dinheiro auto-soberano descentralizado está a espalhar-se em todas as camadas da sociedade em DACH como um molde benigno. Que papel desempenha a criação de conteúdos, o conhecimento de acesso livre e, em última análise, a escolha da língua? A palestra tem como objetivo incentivar o intercâmbio de ideias e iniciativas locais para divulgar o conhecimento sobre a Bitcoin.

Every first Thursday of the month we will have a new edition.

Chris (@chris_SHA256) is an avid Bitcoiner from Germany. He hosts the "Bitcoin Bibliothek" podcast and co-hosts the "Nodesignal" Bitcoin podcast. On the premise that Bitcoin adoption depends on spreading knowledge about Bitcoin, Chris translates and reads Bitcoin articles on the Bitcoin Bibliothek podcast. Thus, the shelves of the imaginary Bitcoin Library ("Bibliothek") already contain the German audiobooks of Gigi's "21 Lessons," Carl Menger's "Origins of Money," and Tomer Strolight's "Why Bitcoin." In the Nodesignal Podcast, Chris and 5 other hosts dive deep into the technical, economic and social aspects of Bitcoin. Following Kant, Chris sees "Bitcoin as a breakout from self-imposed monetary immaturity." Therefore, he propagates a free and unrestricted availability of knowledge about Bitcoin.

This short talk will give an insight into the developments of the German speaking Bitcoin community over the past 5 years. Still a misunderstood niche topic, it seems that the knowledge about a decentralized self-sovereign money is spreading in all layers of society in DACH like a benign mold. What role does content creation, freely accessible knowledge and ultimately the choice of language play in this? The talk is meant to encourage an exchange about local ideas and initiatives to spread knowledge about Bitcoin.
