South African BBQ (Calheta) Bring & Braai

All welcome for an afternoon of fun and good food, we know the Safa’s are one of the best nations on the BBQ!

"Bring and Braai" is a South African Heritage Day celebration in Madeira, scheduled for Saturday, September 20, 2025, starting at 11 am. The event will be held at Zona de Lazer do Ribeirinho Braai Place, Estreito da Calheta on ER222 No.31. Attendees are asked to bring their own meat, salads, snacks, and a warm jacket.

Clean tap water and wood for the braai will be supplied. The event promises good company, laughter, music, and a chance to celebrate the South African spirit.
