FiveTran/Snowflake Data Analytics Stack for Small Business

There's long been a gap in the data analytics space for companies between about 10 and 75 million in revenue, where they have too much data for a BI tool to handle alone, and too little to support the development of a enterprise data warehouse. Among other efforts, FiveTran has been trying to address this gap and has recommended a modern-data-warehouse stack which includes DBT (Fishtown Analytics), SnowFlake, and Sigma Computing. Robinson has experimented with this stack extensively, and can compare it to other stacks and explain where it works and where it doesn't. In these two sessions we'll work through each component of this stack start-to-finsh, discussing the strengths, weaknesses, and alternate options, as well as a full demo.

Jeremiah Robinson likes to help people. He's been doing data analytics for 12 years and building data warehouses for the past six, mostly with the Microsoft stack. Because "success in business results from good decisions" (Good to Great), he loves helping small and medium-sized business leaders find definitive answers to their questions so they can decide confidently rather than guess. He works in health care / insurance, manufacturing, warehousing/logistics, and service providers.
