Nature Hiking on Governor's Island

Come join us outside for a springtime nature hike! MPS member Josh will lead a short to moderate length walk, in a beautiful natural located on the edge of Madison. We will be hiking around Governors Island, a small wild park on the northern shore of Lake Mendonta, adjacent to the grounds of Mendonta Mental Health campus.

Take in the beauty of the landscape, the lake, the plants, and the birds. Share stories of past experiences with nature that connected you to psychedelics, or experiences with psychedelics that have connected you with nature. Binoculars and identification books will be provided. Sturdy walking/hiking shoes are recommended, and whatever gear you need to be comfortable on a spring morning (jacket, water, walking stick, etc.) Leashed dogs who are friendly with strangers and other dogs are welcome.
