Strawberry Solstice Run by DTC

The 2nd annual Strawberry Solstice Run by Driftless Trail Collective is happening from Saturday evening, June 21st through Sunday morning, June 22nd, at the Millville Bridle Unit in Prairie du Chien, WI. Registration opens on Saturday, February 1st, at 8am Central.

This is our second year with this event, and we are scaling up slightly from the first year while retaining the same intimate feel. As such, we charge a limited amount to support permitting, food, and other needs, with remaining proceeds going to the Driftless Area Land Conservancy. We will have a limit of 75 registrants.

All packets will be handed out and announcements will be made starting between 7 and 7:30 pm at the Millville Bridle Unit on Saturday. The parking lot will serve as race HQ, the sole aid station, and the location of our single porta-potty on the course.

Expect traditional race fare at aid stations (water, soda, pb&j, fruit, salty snacks, candy, etc.), along with traditional Driftless Area elevation and trails. There is one particularly punchy climb at the start that we aim to place lights on to keep runners safe.

The event will be held rain, snow, or shine. We reserve the right to modify or cancel the event due to trail conditions, natural disasters, weather, pandemic, or at the request of the WI DNR or local officials.

You can expect a joyful, supportive, and inclusive atmosphere for this trail race, highlighting a beautiful area deep in the Driftless Area of southwestern Wisconsin.
