Fourth Annual Wisconsin Trailfest

Details

Emma Cameron, Katia Wanish, Steve Strieker, and Dana Dobbins are hosting the fourth annual Trailfest for south-central Wisconsin on July 19th and 20th. This year we are heading to the beautiful Southern Kettles where we will traverse the Ice Age Trail from the Scuppernong Trailhead to the Rice Lake Boat Launch.

The event is a 29-mile team trek along the Ice Age Trail completed Ragnar style with groups of 3 to 6 people. You can sign up as a complete team, or as an individual and we can add you to a team. We will start the event early Saturday morning and travel with our caravans south until we all gather Saturday evening at Whitewater Beach to hang out, swim, kayak, and enjoy a communal meal.

For those interested in staying overnight we have group campsites reserved at the Hickory Woods Group Camp. Sunday morning will feature an oatmeal bar and outdoor yoga.

This year we are also introducing camping Friday night. Enjoy an optional evening hike/run, hang out with friends around the campfire, and wake up already in the Kettles! Location of camping and further details to be finalized once we have an idea of how many people are interested.

Please feel free to post any questions, send a message, or reach out to any of the organizers at November Project or Madison Trail Runner outings. We are planning to close out the registration about a week prior to the event to allow us to setup teams. So please sign up now.
