ONLINE: "Do I Need a Lawyer?: Protecting your Rights as an Employee"

Details

How many of us have found ourselves wondering if something at work is discrimination, or just incompetence? If language has veered into sexual harassment, or if you're just reading into things?

For anyone interested in gaining a better understanding of their rights (and available courses of action), this is the presentation for you!

A huge thanks to attorney Elizabeth Pierson for sharing her knowledge and expertise with us.

PRESENTATION DESCRIPTION

"Rough day at work, or potential lawsuit? If you’re asking yourself that question, it might be time to call a lawyer. Gain a basic understanding of employees’ rights in Wisconsin, with an emphasis on discrimination and harassment, and hear about other work-related scenarios when you might want to seek legal advice. Whether you’re facing workplace sexism, interpreting a noncompete clause, or negotiating a separation, a lawyer can help you understand and enforce your rights. "
