Details

January is always kind of a bleh month in Wisconsin, so let's beat the winter blues with some a cozy morning of puzzles and delicious hot chocolate. ❤️ Madison Women in Tech will provide all the fixings for both dairy and non-dairy cocoa (including a variety of toppings), as well as light snacks.

All genders are welcome, as are children!

Thanks to WiT organizer Hilary for hosting.

ABOUT

Wear your coziest sweaters and socks and meet new friends! We'll have a few different puzzles set out for folks to choose from, and plenty of table space.

SCHEDULE

Feel free to show up anytime! We'll be hanging out from 10:30am until 12pm.

TRANSPORTATION

Hilary's house is located on the Madison Isthmus near Tenney Park (exact address will be emailed to attendees the day before).

By car

There's street parking available within a few blocks in any direction.

By bus

The following bus lines come within a few blocks: 28, D, A, B

By bike

Mifflin Street is a bike boulevard; there's also a nearby BCycle station.

ACCESSIBILITY / INCLUSION

All genders are welcome. The space is unfortunately not wheelchair accessible. Because it's a private home, bathrooms are inherently gender neutral ;) Children are welcome! For any allergies, a note that two cats live in the house.

If you have another accessibility concern, we encourage you to reach out directly to WiT organizers via admin@madisonwomen.tech.

CODE OF CONDUCT

While this event is open to all genders, Madison Women in Tech deliberately curates spaces for and by women and nonbinary folks. Men who attend are expected to listen, and not center themselves or their experiences.

All attendees agree to adhere to the Madison Women in Tech code of conduct: http://coc.madisonwomen.tech
