Real life architectures to solve real life business cases at AWS

Hello Data Engies!

After a Christmas break filled with love and polvorones, we are thrilled to announce the first event of the year! This time our good friends at AWS have selected one of their master brains to share with us the solutions for some of their business cases. Want some more?? Not only that but they will host the event in their AWeSome office :)

IMPORTANT: for security reasons, to grant you access to the event, we need you to provide in the RSVP form your full name and day and month of birth (year not needed) and bring an ID. We won't use this info in any way apart from just providing it to the building security to verify when you arrive.

In the talk Carlos will go through different architecture models to be applied for specific use cases related to analytical and Big Data business problems of different industries (banking/fintech, health, gaming and others).

For each of them Carlos will cover the architected solution and how it links with higher level patterns, and which AWS products are useful for them.

*** About Carlos Alfonso ***

Carlos is a Solutions Architect at Amazon Web Services, helping startups across Spain and Portugal build their apps and platforms on the AWS cloud in a highly-available, cost-effective and robust way.

Prior to this, Carlos worked in different startups as a full-stack developer. He is a huge fan of clean, well tested code and software design patterns.
