Cris Navas is Data Engineer at Astrafy. With a strong background in IT and a passion for turning data into valuable insights, he loves the mix of technical problem-solving and creativity in data engineering.

In this session, we’ll take you behind the scenes of our journey to redefine data workflows and elevate data quality by breaking down a huge dbt repository into smaller dbt projects leveraging cookiecutter templates. Also, we enforced the software engineering best practices to keep the highest data-quality standards, enabling our users to do TDD and defining data-contracts between the different data products.

From Mercadona Tech, Miguel Martín Tapia and Rubén Ibáñez Pinillo will share their experience building and leading data projects at one of Spain’s most innovative retail companies.
