Madrid Learn Art Appreciation for Beginners meetup

Hello,

Are you visiting Madrid and plan to see the amazing art here and elsewhere in Europe? Love seeing art, but wish you could understand more?

If so, invest 2 hours with an art expert over a coffee, before your visits to the Prado and other museums, to understand how to analyse and appreciate Western historical paintings, and understand the history that influenced various art genres like the Renaissance and Baroque, amongst many others. Develop confidence in being able to identify artists and genres.

The meetup is limited to a maximum of 4 attendees (including any guests you bring). I plan to run these twice a week, so don't worry if you miss this one, book early to get into the next one instead.

Your host is a highly-rated art guide from Australia who recently moved to Madrid.

In a fun format, in small groups of a maximum of 4, your host will start you in English, on your Art Appreciation journey, show you pictures of amazing art from various genres, suggest which artists to see in and around Madrid, and conduct a fun quiz to test your knowledge.

The meetup will be run at the Starbucks cafe near the Prado Museum in Madrid.
