Coffee/Cocktail Mixer

Join us for an introductory mixer at downtown Birmingham’s most aesthetic new hotspot: Pink Lantern! Half vibrant, coffee shop, half chic cocktail lounge, this unique venue provides the perfect backdrop to break the ice and meet fellow enthusiasts.

Whether you love a classic espresso martini, want to try their famous signature, Vietnamese coffee cocktails, or prefer a refreshing mocktail, there is something for everyone. This is a casual, low pressure mixer designed for making new friends, expanding your social circle, and exploring Birmingham’s booming arts scene.

How to Find Us:
We will gather inside the lounge area. Look for the velvet seating near the disco balls – there will be a Meetup sign on the main community table.

Agenda:
6:00-6:30 PM: Arrival, grab a drink at the bar and open socializing.

6:30-6:45 PM: Brief Introductions. Tell us where you’re from, your favorite art medium or the last great queer film you saw. What are you hoping to get out of this group?

6:45-until: Free mix and mingle under the pink lanterns.

Cost/Ticket Info:

Attendance is free. Attendees pay for their own menu items at the bar. Craft cocktails generally start around $13, while non-alcoholic options and specialty coffees are available from $4 to $10.

Good To Know:

• Age Limit: The venue shifts to a 21+ policy once night service begins and liquor is actively flowing.

• Parking: Street parking is available along first Avenue north and surrounding downtown blocks.
