Hey everyone! Get ready for another fantastic outing centered around independent queer storytelling and community connection. We are gathering Saturday, September 19, for a special matinee screening followed by a relaxed social hour!
Here is the plan for our afternoon:
- 3:45 PM – Dreams in Nightmares Screening
We are meeting up at the Sidewalk Film Center + Cinema for the 3:45 PM showing of Dreams in Nightmares. This tender and expansive road movie follows a tight-knit circle of mid-30s queer friends traversing the Midwest. Tickets can be purchased directly at the Sidewalk Box Office.
- Post-Movie – After-Movie Cocktails at Sidewalk Lounge
Immediately after the credits roll, we will gather right outside the theater screening rooms at the Sidewalk Lounge. It’s the perfect, cozy underground spot to grab a cocktail (or mocktail!), unwind, and chat about the film together.
How to find us: Look out for the group in the lower-level Sidewalk lobby about 15 minutes before showtime (around 3:30 PM) so we can head in and grab seats together. If you miss the movie, feel free to just slip into the lounge around 7:00 PM (the film is 128 minutes!) to join us for the social hour!
