🏛️ Event: BOG BODIES Gallery Opening & Pop-Up Drinks! 🥂

The Hook:
Ready to dive into the local contemporary art scene and connect with fellow queer indie creators? This Thursday, Magic City Queer Arts is hitting the pavement for an incredible evening of art, inspiration, and community networking.

We are meeting up to attend the opening reception of BOG BODIES at Ground Floor Contemporary! This multidisciplinary exhibition features standout works by Emily Rice (working from a queer Southern perspective), Shori Sims, and Sarah West. If you’re a filmmaker, musician, writer, or visual artist looking for your creative tribe in Birmingham, this is the perfect space to plug in.

Best of all? The gallery exhibition is 100% FREE to attend, and there will be complimentary light refreshments available as we browse the art!

After we soak in the exhibition, we’re keeping the energy going! We will head over to The House of Found Objects (2205 2nd Ave N). It’s an amazing, affordable space to unpack the gallery’s themes, talk shop about your creative projects, and share ideas.

What to Bring:
Just yourself, your creative energy, and a friend if you'd like! Whether you want to talk about screenwriting software, scout a soundtrack composer, or just enjoy great local art, everyone is welcome.
