Polar Bear Plunge, Bonfire & Hot Toddies at Pops!

What better way to kick off 2027 than jumping into a freezing river, warming up by a roaring bonfire, and enjoying hot toddies with friends at a cozy speakeasy?

Whether you’re ready to take the plunge or just want to watch the craziness, come ring in the New Year with Magic Hour Adventures!

We’re joining the Borough of Pottstown Parks & Recreation’s annual Polar Bear Plunge. 𝗟𝗼𝗼𝗸 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗠𝗮𝗴𝗶𝗰 𝗛𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗳𝗹𝗮𝗴!

𝗛𝗲𝗿𝗲’𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗽𝗹𝗮𝗻:

• 𝟵:𝟯𝟬 𝗔𝗠: Registration begins at Riverfront Park.
• 𝟭𝟬:𝟬𝟬 𝗔𝗠: The bonfire gets going. A perfect spot for spectators!
• 𝟭𝟬:𝟯𝟬 𝗔𝗠: Time to take the plunge into the icy Schuylkill River! Rescue divers will be on hand.
• 𝗔𝗳𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗽𝗹𝘂𝗻𝗴𝗲: We’re heading to Pops McCann Speakeasy to warm up, dry off, and celebrate!

𝗣𝗼𝗽𝘀 𝗠𝗰𝗖𝗮𝗻𝗻 𝗦𝗽𝗲𝗮𝗸𝗲𝗮𝘀𝘆

𝟮𝟭𝟴 𝗘. 𝗛𝗶𝗴𝗵 𝗦𝘁𝗿𝗲𝗲𝘁, 𝗣𝗼𝘁𝘁𝘀𝘁𝗼𝘄𝗻, 𝗣𝗔 𝟭𝟵𝟰𝟲𝟰

After your brief descent into lunacy, head over to Pops McCann Speakeasy!

𝗣𝗹𝗲𝗮𝘀𝗲 𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝘁𝗵𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗴𝗵 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗯𝗮𝗰𝗸 𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲, which leads into our special warming and changing room. Bring some dry clothes, warm up, and enjoy hot toddies and traditional New Year’s Day pork and sauerkraut simmering in the crockpots for good luck!

A little adventure, a little tradition, and a great way to connect with friends old and new.

𝗔 𝗳𝗲𝘄 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴𝘀 𝘁𝗼 𝗸𝗻𝗼𝘄:

• There’s no fee to take the plunge, but you must register and complete a waiver on-site.
• Bring creek shoes or old sneakers for the water.
• Pack a towel, warm clothes, and something dry to change into.
• Participants ages 16–18 need adult consent and should bring ID.
• Spectators of all ages are welcome. You don’t have to jump in to join the fun!
