Full Moon Ritual

Do you sometimes get stuck in self critique or patterns that block you from forming new and healthy habits? Have you started the year with lots of intentions and goals but feel in a rut?

The full moon is the peak of reflected sunlight. Cloudless nights are lit up and the pull of this body in our skies can be felt across the earth. When we reach a peak it feels so good to look around and take in all the beauty. Revel in the moment, inhale and survey the scope of our achievement. It also signifies the beginning of and end. Now is the time to descend once more, to let go and begin the journey towards the new moon.

This full moon is in Virgo, an Earth sign known for its organized, health oriented and structured nature. To flow with this sign, we will spend time in deep meditation exploring which structures and judgements we can let go of to support us in creating new patterns in our lives that are of service and benefit.

We will also spend time in celebration, bathing in the full moon's light letting our bodies become reflections of beauty as a drum beat guides us on a magical journey that takes us deeper within and deeper without. For the great mystery is that that which we cannot find within ourselves, we will never find without.

At the beginning and the end of the ritual there will be time to connect as a community, ask questions and share from our journeys.
