MAGICAL CHRISTMAS 🎄LIGHTS and MARKETS £5 TOUR - Route 4
Tower Hill underground station main exit, Tower Hill Underground Station, Trinity Square EC3N 4DJ, London, GBENJOY the SPECTACLE of LONDON'S CHRISTMAS LIGHTS, FAMOUS BRIDGES and MAGICAL CHRISTMAS MARKETS on this £5 tour.
This is a short walking tour (approx 2 hours) taking in some of London's famous and most spectacular Christmas Lights, Bridges and Christmas Markets. This walk is Route 4. There will be a different walks (Routes 1, 2 and 3) at other times in the month.
Afterwards there will be an option to head off to a local bar for something to eat/drink to continue the socialising.
Please note that the meetup point is at Tower Hill, Underground station.
The Tour lasts approx 2.5 hours, so please wear warm clothing. The Tour ends at Waterloo Station at around 8.30/9pmish.
When you arrive at the starting point look for the Ken's Events Flag.
Cost of Event £5 :
To allow for maximum flexibility for attendees, this event is free to RSVP. The £5 fee is only payable on attendance at the start of the walk. Attendees who show the Ken's Events Membership card can attend for free.
START POINT: Outside Tower Hill Underground station.
DISTANCE: Approx 3 miles.
END POINT: Waterloo Station.
Please note that it is your responsibilty to keep walkers ahead in view and to follow the direction of the walk.
RISKS: Please dress appropriately for weather conditions and carry a bottle of water and necessary medication. In these walks we use; pavements, and cross busy roads. If you require insurance for these walks then you must arrange this yourself.
No dogs on this walk or small children please.

CHRISTMAS 🎄 🌲EVE £5 WALK and DRINKS 🍷🍺 THAMESPATH to PUTNEY
Battersea Power Station, Unit 74, Battersea Power Station, Circus Rd S, Nine Elms, London SW11 8BU, London, GBWALK followed by CHRISTMAS EVE DRINKS.
PARK, LAKES, MEADOWS, GARDENS,THAMESPATH, WOODLAND TRAILS, and the NEW BATTERSEA RETAIL DEVELOPMENT plus SOCIALISING afterwards in a large pub on Christmas Eve.
WALK START POINT: Battersea Power Underground Station (Northern Line)
WALK ROUTE: See the fashionable shops of the new Battersea Retail Development and contrast with the greenery and nature of Battersea Park, and the serenity of the Thames, before finishing the walk in a large pub close to Putney Stations. Above photo is of the Festival of Britain Fountains in Battersea Park.
WALK DISTANCE: Approx 5 miles.
WALK END POINT: A large pub near Putney Bridge Station (District Line) and East Putney Bridge(National Rail)
STOP OUT POINT: Our route goes close to several London bus routes
Social Event:
Our walks are social walks, where the emphasis is on meeting new people, enjoying nature, healthy exercise, and fresh air. Our walks are not interrupted with running commentaries or historical lectures, although occasionally features of significance may be pointed out.
