This class is designed for those looking for a comfortable starting place in order to grow and nurture their yoga practice. Whether you're a beginner, nursing an injury, or have restricted movement due to age, ailment, weight, etc. this is the class for you. This slower-paced yoga class focuses on basic Hatha techniques and pranayama breathing.
No experience necessary. Modifications are offered for all levels, including "chair yoga" for those unable to use a yoga mat. All ages, levels, and body types welcome! Bring water, a yoga mat, and a towel, otherwise extras are available to borrow. $8 drop-in rate, or $5 per class when you purchase $20 or more. Pay by cash or check. These classes are offered through the Staunton Parks and Recreation Department. Arrive a few minutes early to register before class.
