Yoga is a physical, mental, and spiritual practice. Designed as an intense Vinyasa class, these three aspects will be brought into union to generate a midday second wind. This practice emphasizes core strength, muscle tone, flexibility, rhythmic breathing, and stamina. Each pose will enable you to get the fullest possible stretch while maintaining a vigorous fluidity of movement with enough time to relax your mind and connect to your breath. Prepare to sweat, burn calories, and have fun to motivating and energetic music!
No experience necessary. All ages, levels, and body types welcome! Bring water, a yoga mat, and a towel, otherwise extras are available to borrow. $8 drop-in rate, or $5 per class when you purchase $20 or more. Pay by cash or check. These classes are offered through the Staunton Parks and Recreation Department. Arrive a few minutes early to register before class.
