Long Walk Live – Volunteer Opportunity
Details
We are looking for volunteers to support Long Walk Live, a not-for-profit live music and community event taking place this summer on The Long Walk, Windsor.
Long Walk Live is a welcoming, feel-good event celebrating live music and local talent, while raising vital funds for Windsor Festival and The Prince Philip Trust Fund. It is a very family-friendly occasion and a real community highlight — and like all events of this scale, it relies on the support of volunteers to make it a success.
The music programme includes a strong line-up, with Chesney Hawkes headlining on Friday, and Right Said Fred and Boyzlife headlining on Saturday, alongside popular tribute acts to ABBA, Dua Lipa, Ed Sheeran and Taylor Swift.
Shifts are typically 3–4 hours, and we will do our best to accommodate availability.
Volunteer roles
All roles are straightforward and fully supported, including welcoming visitors, offering directions, acting as an extra pair of eyes and ears, and generally helping the event run smoothly. A full briefing and on-the-day support will be provided.
What volunteers receive
- Free entry on the day you volunteer
- The opportunity to stay and enjoy the event outside your shift
- Light refreshments
- The satisfaction of supporting a much-loved local event and two excellent causes
If you enjoy live music, community events, and being part of something positive, volunteering at Long Walk Live is a rewarding and enjoyable way to get involved.
