You are invited to a special screening of the documentary State Organs — a powerful and unsettling film that examines grave human rights and medical ethics concerns.

State Organs follows the heart-wrenching journeys of two families as they relentlessly search for loved ones who mysteriously disappeared while in police custody in China. Their pursuit of truth uncovers evidence of a systemic, state-sanctioned forced organ harvesting operation — one that, according to investigators and human rights advocates, continues to this day.

The film’s themes resonate strongly in light of a recent incident on 3 September, when Xi Jinping and Vladimir Putin were reportedly caught on a hot mic discussing increased longevity and even the prospect of immortality through repeated organ transplants. These remarks raise urgent and troubling questions about medical ethics, accountability, and our shared humanity.

Following the screening, attendees are invited to take part in a facilitated discussion to reflect on the issues raised and explore what they mean for global ethics, human rights, and individual responsibility.

This event is hosted by the End Forced Organ Harvesting Rotary Satellite Club.
