Music Generation with deep learning

How can we generate a new song of our favorite artist?

We will talk a bit about the theory behind it, but mostly, we will demonstrate the variety of common techniques and implementations such as RNN, LSTM and GAN.
The history of an algorithmic generation, then we'll walk step by step through the process of how DNN networks help us generate music.
The session will be divided to 2 parts, lecture and hands-on.

Who can join us?
This session is for anyone who has a basic programming background and previous introduction with neural networks.
You can be a developer, a team leader, a product manager or anything else with a practical experience with some code (preferably python).
We will use python, tensorflow, keras and MATLAB.

A Working computer

PyCharm / Jupyter notebook

About the lecturer (Roy Fahn):
Working for Systematics for the last 12 years as an Application Engineer focusing on MathWorks Deep Learning, Machine Learning, Image Processing & Computer Vision product lines.
Holds an M.Sc degree in Electrical Engineering from the Tel-Aviv University and a B.Sc degree in Bio-Medical Engineering from the Technion (with honors).
Speaks three languages – Hebrew, English and MATLAB.
