What We Do
• In-Person Listening Sessions: The cornerstone of MLMAS. Join us for monthly, themed listening sessions hosted in the Main Line area (e.g., '60s soul jazz, Baroque chamber music, '70s classic rock, Texas electric blues). These gatherings are focused on enjoying music, sharing insights, and discovering new sonic territory—familiar or entirely "new."
• Genre Exploration: We keep an open ear! We celebrate a wide range of recorded music, from landmark albums to hidden gems, across all genres and sub-genres.
• Local Concert Dialogue: We maintain an active discussion and organize outings to support the local Philadelphia concert scene.
• Community Building: We are building connections among adults who are eager to share music knowledge and expand their horizons in a vibrant, in-person social setting. We plan to partner with local businesses (HiFi retailers, concert venues, theaters) who may host events. Local musicians and their fans can post to a dedicated channel on our online forum.
