July Meeting Main Line Writers Group Tues July 1 - Stand-up Reading

Join us for a stand-up reading of your work Tuesday, July 1, 2025 at 6:30 pm.

Bring your written piece that you can finish reading aloud in 7 minutes or less. You will read it aloud and get feedback on your presentation (with possibly minor comments about the piece itself). Please do the following to prepare:

• Time yourself. It should be less than seven minutes reading time at a normal pace. YOU WILL BE STOPPED AT a maximum of seven minutes.
• Print it on paper. Don't read from a book.
• Practice. Don't try to wing it. Few people can do that successfully.

We meet in the library of the Main Line Arts Center, 746 Panmure Road, Haverford, PA. There will be camaraderie and great conversation.

2025 is our sixteenth anniversary!
Annual membership is $50 and covers a variety of expenses, including website hosting and Meetup administration fees. If you won’t be attending regularly, you may also choose to pay $10 per meeting.
