Historic House and Garden tour - Wiscasset. Ticket $15 fee May 26 deadline

Please join the Jane Austen Society of North America Maine Region for a 'Historic House and Garden Tour' at the Nickels-Sortwell in beautiful Wiscasset. The home was built in 1807 by the wealthy shipping magnate, William Nickels. It is an exceptional example of the Federal style of architecture built in the United States following the American Revolution.

At 10am there will be a guided tour of the house and garden. Please note that the tour includes standing and climbing stairs and is not equipped with ramps or elevators. At 11:30 please being your own picnic lunch to have on the grounds, or choose a lunch spot in town. Admission is $15 and payment is required in advance (go to jasnamaine.org to register). Or, pay by check to
