Blades in the Dark Beginners Campaign

Join a crew of scoundrels trying to build their reputation and influence in the criminal underworld of High Hill for a beginners campaign of Blades in the Dark. You will learn how to navigate the seedy districts of the city, pick the right score, and lie, cheat, and steal to get what you need to survive. No experience with the game is necessary to play and new players are encouraged to attend.

Blades in the Dark is a player focused game that encourages creative story telling and narratives. It uses a dice pool of 6 sided dice (d6s) and simple mechanics to enable faster action and cutthroat consequences.

We will be continuing the story start in August, where players will take up the roles of scoundrels in a newly established crew of Shadows, Nobody's Pawns, experts in espionage, sabotage, and theft. You will have the chance to support or foil the machinations of High Hill factions as you see fit. Your criminal contacts will be a good source of jobs, and the downtime spent between scores can help further your goals.

The Game Manager will provide all the materials needed to play, but you are welcome to bring your own dice, pencil, and character sheet if you would like.
