What we’re about
This meetup's primary focus is building a local video game developer community for Maine. Members can come together to share challenges and knowledge, discuss the game industry, and find other members to collaborate with. Designers, artists, programmers, and everyone in between are welcome.
Ideas for the future will involve voluntary short presentations or tutorials created by members, showcases of their current projects, and eventually our own game jams.
I think most of these groups fade away because there isn't much passive communication going on between members so I've set up a Discord server (free text and/or voice application) to have an active place to communicate at any time.
