About us
Formed in 2018, Mainframerz is a community of app devs, sys progs, and anyone else with an interest in IBM Z and the mainframe. We're probably the largest global mainframe/ Z group on Meetup. In 2022 we hit a milestone of 1000 members and are continuing to grow. It is an exciting time to be working on the mainframe!
We started as a London based group but since Covid we focused efforts running online events, typically once a quarter, where anyone can join from around the world. In November 2022 we will be running our first hybrid event, with opportunity to join in person at a London location, or alternatively join and participate online.
Join us for talks, networking, demos, panels, discussions and workshop events. Get to know like-minded people who are also passionate about the mainframe (and when we get to meet in person, there will be plenty of pizza!)

We want to know the areas you would be interested in to make sure our events are useful and shaped to your needs. Please comment in the discussion area if there is something you want to suggest, or if you want a chat, or join us on Slack.
Spread the word amongst your friends and colleagues - the more the merrier!
