VanCitySec: Vancouver's Premier Monthly Hacker/Security Professional Meetup

VanCitySec is our monthly meetup hosted on the second Thursday of the month. We welcome anyone who works in information security, is interested in information security, or wants to hang out with those in information security.

The VanCitySec Meetups are casual affairs with no set agenda but we encourage attendees to present cool things, employers to speak to their needs and vendors to exercise their expense accounts.

The rules are pretty simple:

• Drinking and food (not necessarily in that order) are involved.

• No sales pitches please, but bar tabs on expense accounts welcome!

• References to SOX, PCI, PIPA, or FISMA require encourage the speaker to buy a round of shots.
