The Schuylkill Valley Boys Ukefest, co-sponsored by Silver Music Studios, will be held on Sept 11, 2016 at the Garrett Mill Pavilion in Willistown Pa.

Silver Music Studios, owned by Scot Silver, has been providing individual music lessons for over 20 years at their studios in Broomall and Drexel Hill Pa. As a result of their involvement, there will be a ukulele clinic conducted by Nick Roberti, an instructor at Silver Studios. Many of you already know Nick as an excellent uke player and member of the Phila/Mainline uke group.

Additionally, Scot and Nick will provide a number of prizes for raffle.

We will also have Phila/Mainline Tee shirts available for sale.

Subject to change, our schedule looks like this:

12:15 to 1:00. Instructional clinic

1:15 to 1:30. Greetings and introductions

1:30 to 2:30. First group session

2:30 to 3:45. Lunch/Open Mike

4:00 to 5:00. Second group session

5:00 Departure

Notes:

Please bring your own lunch and beverages. That will eliminate the time necessary to set up and clean up sharing tables. Of course if you have something to share you are welcome to do so. This will give us more time to eat and enjoy the open mike performers. No alcoholic beverages are permitted in the park.

The Pavilion has a roof with open sides. You might want to bring a light jacket or sweater should it be cool.

The Pavilion has toilet rooms and picnic benches for our use.

Please bring along a chair and your music stand.
