West Chester Ukulele Group - Theme: Dead Musicians :-O

Join us to sing, play ukulele and have fun! We play starting at 5:30pm until 7:00pm at the Hickman Jeanes Building. Arrive when you can, stay as long as you're able!

Upcoming events:
West Chester Porchfest, May 18th (raindate May 19th). We're performing!
Ukulele Harmonic Convergence, May 11th. Always fun, whether performing or not.
South Wayne Porchfest, Sept 7th. Betsy Manning usually organizes and plans the performance by the Phila Main Line Uke Group, and you're all invited.
Funky Frets Ukulele Festival, Oct 3rd - 5th.

Optional Ukulele Skills 5:00-5:20pm. For those interested, we'll have one of us volunteer for the week to lead a session on ukulele skills. ***Put in the Comments if you'll offer the skills for that week. We'll take turns with one person a week. ***It may be a skill in:

• playing in general
• concepts such as 1-4-5....
• practicing a certain song
• picking
• strums
• tips in leading songs
• practice a cool riff
• ukulele meditations

When you arrive, enter the Jeanes Building of The Hickman. Our room is to the right as you enter, so sign in at the reception desk and walk on in!

Come early, come late, we'll be happy to see you whenever you arrive.

If you'd like to share a song with the group bring song sheet copies to hand out. Expect folks to share song sheets so you don't need to print too many.

Age range is adult: high school onward. We welcome all levels of ability in playing and singing. If you're just starting and have played 3 chords, you'll fit right in. If you're more advanced, you'll fit in too.
