Ukulele 2nd Sundays at Steel City: Strum & Sing!

Details

We are pleased to announce our return to monthly musical Sundays at
2nd Sundays at Steel City Coffeehouse! (http://www.steelcitycoffeehouse.com/)

Many thanks to Steel City (http://www.steelcitycoffeehouse.com/) new owners Ed Simpson and Laura Vernola, for their warm welcome. This is a great opportunity for those who can't make our weeknight jams to gather with our regulars & new members for good food and drink, the best company and a great music-filled day!

We will be playing our ukuleles every 2nd Sunday
(unless it conflicts with Barnfest or the Schuylkill Valley Boys Uke Fest, two of our quarterly premier seasonal events.)

Times
Folks begin to arrive *12:30-1:00PM for lunch or snacks & socializing;
sharing playing tips. It's nice to give yourself time to order, be served, have a bite or brew, visit with everyone and get yourselves situated before start time.
A few folks often start informally playing amongst themselves from the get-go.
Official Jam: 1:30-4:00.
A number of us could play all day (and night :-) and will usually continue playing until 4 o'clock closing, (which Ed & Laura welcome us to do.)

Music
What we'll be playing will change from month to month.
Please check below in "Comments" for each month's songbook.

We play all genres and time periods, from traditional folk songs to currently airing pop and rock.

All playing levels welcome.
Don't play but love to sing? Come on over! The more the merrier!

Grab your ukuleles and come join us at Steel City!
