WALK: Stratford- Waterglades to wetlands - River Lea 🌿🍂 🌸

Join us for a refreshing river and wetland walk😊

Meeting at 12at Stratford underground station exit by entrance to Westfield Centre by M&S

Onto the Waterglades then emerging alongside the River Lea path---which takes us all the way to the Walthamstow Wetlands.

We walk alongside the River Lea for most of the way, through the Queen Elizabeth Park, crossing at Temple Mills Bridge to continue alongside the Lea with Hackney Marshes on both sides until we reach the pink Friends Bridge with nature reserves on either side through Leyton Marshes
Then we continue walking athrough Walthamstow Marshes under an S-shaped viaduct, then continuing on with Coppermill Fields to the right.

Our final destination is the Walthamstow Wetlands walking along the reservoirs watching the wildlife.

We end our walk at the cosy FerryBoat Inn pub for food and drinks.
The nearest tube is a 10 min walk to either Tottenham or Blackhorse Road ————————————————————
