At the turn of the century, a Master of Wisdom gathered together a group of some fifty individuals, dispersed across the globe, to serve as a focal point through which a stream of progressive ideas could be made available to humanity. These teachings, set forth in a series of twenty-four volumes, form the blueprint and spiritual foundation for a new culture and civilisation—one destined to guide and assist humanity in taking its next great evolutionary step.
The book Discipleship in the New Age Vol 1 is a unique document that records a series of personal and group instructions given to a small band of spiritual aspirants dedicated to the life of the spirit and the love of humanity. Nothing like it has ever been published before. Each letter contains detailed guidance on meditation, the various stages of the Path, and those initiatory events that culminate in a broad expansion of consciousness and an ever-deepening realisation and actualisation of the individual’s latent spiritual potential—resulting in demonstrated self-mastery and an ever-widening capacity for service.
Each letter reveals unique challenges and opportunities, outlining psychological dispositions and spiritual antidotes, together with individually assigned meditations and a penetrating spiritual psychology that reveals the depths of the human soul. Through these instructions, we come to appreciate how all personal training and discipline are subordinate to a larger group purpose—one that culminates in the demonstration of group creativity along many lines. This greater group purpose serves to germinate new insights, understandings, and methods destined to transform the fields of psychology, education, healing, philosophy, economics, politics, the arts, science, and religion.
