Stellar: connecting people to low-cost financial services

Let's discuss Stellar's agenda to create an open financial system that will give access to financial services to a much broader spectrum of society.

Our very own Johan Sten, Co-Organizer of the Makati Digital Currency Meetup, has been working on Stargazer - a Stellar wallet. He will explain to us:

1. why financial inclusion is huge deal for Stellar;
2. what is federated Byzantine agreement and why Stellar chose this consensus model;
3. why Stellar is giving away lumens (XLM) - Stellar's native digital currency; and
4. how Stargazer wallet works;

Also, Ramon Tayag (VP Engineering at Bloom Solutions) will talk about BloomNet, the remittance network they are creating, and why they chose to build it on top of the Stellar platform.
