Find scripts, get the right people, and make the FILM

As I have mentioned elsewhere, the objective of this group is to promote creativity, particularly in the field of film making which in itself is a melting pot for almost all forms of creative pursuits.

A mundane logistical question, CCD is on Baner Road, the road that takes from University circle towards the Mumbai-Banglore Highway...It would be about 10-15 min drive from the University circle, and it is absolutely on the Main Road, on the left side while coming from University, a few minutes after Food Bazaar (Big Bazaar)..

From an agenda perspective, this meetup is the beginning of a long journey, a journey which will see us take up many creative challenges.

So the first objective of the meetup is to know our fellow travellers. What strengths and expertise each one of us brings to the table. How do we complement each other, so that we can plan our pursuits better. So for eg...if we are weak on let us say, music, then probably we will need to reach out to some who are strong on this aspect. We can arrange for workshops to imbibe some of the skill sets, like screenplay writing, or acting workshop.

We also hit the ground running. We have a ready film script and I want to make my first film out of it. In the film making project there is loads of action both in front of the camera and behind. And we will need to have the right people in the right places.

So let us meet, identify our interests, and start a journey, into the known unknown.
