Creative Design with 3D SketchUp

This 10 week course is a thorough introduction to creative 3D design and Sketchup. You can develop any product or spatial design ideas, from jewellery, children's toys or furniture; to design of a garden, complete new house or fantasy sculpture for the 4th Plinth at Trafalgar Square! First 6 weeks will focus on learning the software but then students encouraged to develop their design process and individual designs. This is a fantastic introduction to making designs in a 3D computer modelling enviroment by those who would otherwise be making with physical materials. There is an opportunity for 3D Printing later in the course. A City & Guilds level 1 award can be obtained by those completing the course. Course starts 1st May 2024.
