What we do
This group hosts Chicken Rush - a fast, funny, social scavenger-hunt game played around London. Each event mixes small teams of people, sends you on a real-world race to find a hidden “Chicken” who’s hiding in a nearby pub or bar, and gives you challenges to complete along the way.
Disclaimer: We did build this game, we hope to host other weird and wacky things in the future!
Who it’s for
Anyone who wants to meet new people, explore the city, and have a genuinely fun, low-pressure social experience. Ideal for solo attendees, newcomers to the city, or anyone bored of pubs as the only social option.
What happens at events
We split everyone into teams, you get a short briefing, and then the game begins: find the Chicken using GPS clues, complete tasks for extra points, and finish at a final venue for drinks and socialising. Events typically last 3-4 hours, with the hunt lasting 2 hours.
Fees
Some events are free. Some are paid. Price is always shown clearly on the event listing. We aim to do one large free event every 2-3 months.
Affiliation
This group is run by Chicken Rush, a London-based small business that creates tech-enabled social games. Meetup events are just another way for people to join the fun.

The Great Santa Hunt
Meeting Point To Be Announced, Central London (Soho, Covent Garden), London, GBJoin us for a massive game of Chicken Rush with a special Christmas twist.
We’re aiming to get 500 Santas to hunt a Chicken.

Quick intro for those who don't know:
The 'Chicken' will run off to hide in a secret pub or bar. Everyone then races in teams to find them first. The hunt lasts two hours. Your team will have challenges to complete for points. Finding the Chicken also gets you points. Most points at the end, wins.
This event is ticketed, they're free though!

- Everyone's gonna be wearing Santa Hats (compulsory).
- We're expecting a lot more hunters than usual.
So come along, make some new friends, and be part of something extremely silly.
This is a free event as part of our mission to offer ways of meeting new people while having fun, at what is the loneliest time of year for many.
