# Relaxed St Andrews Sunday Walk (Fife Coastal Path to Kingsbarns)

Pace: Very relaxed — suitable for new walkers and a social chatty stroll
Distance/Time: ~2 hours total (about 4–6 km / 2–3.5 miles) Fairly easy walking
### Plan
- If the weather is dry or light showers: we’ll do the first section of the Fife Coastal Path from St Andrews — walk for about 1 hour out, then 1 hour back the same way.
- If it’s raining a lot or really bad weather: we’ll switch to a comfy café hangout in town instead.
### What to bring
- Comfortable walking shoes/trainers
- Water and a light snack
- Waterproof/extra layer (it’s Scotland!)
- Optional: small umbrella/hat
### Terrain & suitability
Mostly paved or good paths with a few uneven bits and some walking on the beach. We’ll keep the pace easy and wait for everyone — this is very relaxed walking.
### Accessibility & other notes
- Friendly dogs on leads are welcome (please be mindful of others).
- Free to join; please bring money for your own café drink if we do the rain plan.
