What we’re about

If you’re a woman in your 20’s to 40’s, looking for friendship or just wanting to meet other women in Houston, this is the group for you.

We will meet at restaurants, bars, museums, and events on Saturdays, usually 2 - 4 PM. The meetings will typically be a social where you just show up to get to know others. Sometimes we may do fun activities together.

This group is to give you an opportunity to do something during the weekend and meet other people.

About me (the organizer):
I’m really down to earth, easy to talk to, non-judgmental, into fitness and nutrition, a Christian, like to meet and get to know more people.

Ladies, here are the rules moving forward as a member of this group:

  1. You must cancel with 1 week lead time to avoid being penalized for last minute cancellation.
  2. If you cancel last minute, you have up to 5 times you are allowed to do this. If you cancelled last minute in the PAST, you are already in the grace period. Once you cancel last minute for a 6th time, you will receive a warning. If you cancel last minute a 7th time, you will be removed from the group.
  3. Please call or text organizer on day of meetup as organizer is often interacting live with people who are already in person at the meetup and does not have time to check app. Your phone number will never be sold or misused for any other purpose other than communicating about the meetup.
  4. All future restaurant meetups will be limited to 6 people; restaurants usually require one check for more than 6. I don’t want to have to chase people to contribute.
  5. You are welcome to join the waitlist in case someone cancels. YOU MUST text organizer so you will be notified that you are admitted to the meetup from waitlist. You will not be penalized if you are admitted last minute and already made other plans.
  6. Finally, please be advised that anyone you meet at the group meetup are strangers to you and me. Be aware that traffickers often use women to recruit other women. Word of advice, please keep your conversations on the surface level. Introduce yourself on first name basis only, do not share where you work, you can describe the job you do, but don’t tell your company name. Let’s be smart, safe, and have fun.

By joining this group, you hereby agree that you have read and understood the group rules and agree to adhere to it. You also agree that your safety is your personal responsibility. If you have questions or concerns, please feel free to reach out to me. If you are UNCOMFORTABLE for any reason during in person meetup, you are free to leave. Just text me to let me know you have left. No need to provide reason or explanation. Please ensure to pay for your meal to the restaurant before leaving. I want you to feel safe, enjoy your time, and be comfortable.
